Sun been down for days, a pretty flower in a vase. A slipper by the fireplace, a cello laying in it's case. Soon she's down the stairs, her morning elegance she wears.

Today I went shopping with my friend and we must've tried on about one MILLION pairs of jeans, so I'm still seeing jeans in my head when I close my eyes. A similar thing happened when we walked around the mall looking for sandals one time! We got to the store around ten and soon enough it was one o'clock, it went by very fast.  In the end, I only ended up buying two pairs of jeans, a sweater and a tank top. But it was fun! :)

Also, I figured out that I have a tendency to want to know how things work in the world. For instance, when we were stopped at a stoplight today, all I could think about it how the stoplights know when to put the green light, red light etc.? Is there a camera in the lights? Or maybe a motion/weight sensor in the ground close to the intersection? These are the questions that run around my brain all day. I try not to ask too many of them because I don't want to act like I know nothing :P

  3. There's a sensor in the ground. It is squared and it's just a wire in a loop. When a car stops, it senses a magnetic field and then the stop light senses that and it turns green. Or it stays green longer when other cars are approaching the edge of the street before you cross.

On bikes, or bicycles the best thing to do to help the light change is to put a magnet on the bottom of the bike and that should activate the magnetic field because the bikes or bicycles aren't heavy enough.

Hope that answers your question. There are lights installed and they could be to monitor the traffic flow, or to take pictures if you see a white box next to the camera then don't run a red light, or you'll get a ticket in the mail lol..

    Hope that answers your questions.
