It's not always rainbows and butterflies, it's compromise that moves us along. My heart is full and my door's always open, you can come anytime you want.

Today I realized that, at one point in my life, I would like to travel to MANY places! I'd really like to see and experience the different cultures, scenery, wildlife etc. I really just think it'd be amazing. I think it'd be great to see where most technology progress comes from, where fashion originates from, where music all started, the great pyramids, the far east coast, the farthest west coast, and much more! And if I can't see it all in one trip, I would definitly plan second or third trips to complete the task! :)

I never knew perfection 'till I heard you speak. And now it kills me just to hear you say the simple things. Now waking up is hard to do, sleeping's impossible too. And everything's reminding me of you, what can I do?

Recently I've learned that even though some things might turn for the worse and scare me, I've got to keep my chin up and think positive thoughts. Because if I think negatively, what good will that do? I've just got to know and believe that everything will be okay and work out in the end.

For though they may be parted there is still a chance that they will see. There will be an answer, let it be.

So, I'm thinking Thansgiving should come sooner! Because I would really like some pumpkin pie and turkey, just saying.
I've actually never owned a "Shamwow", and yet, it works perfectly as a nickname for me! Inventions truly are great. I mean, if we didn't have any, there would be no progress in the world! Who knows, maybe I'd be trying to build a fire in some deserted cave with fellow cavemen! Oh man, I actually don't even know what I'm saying. Sometimes I just ramble on about the darndest things.

You know what fruit is really good? Strawberries. They're so tasty! Almost like, the stereotypical, warm, sun drenched summer.. in a berry! It's really quite amazing.

When it rains, it pours and opens doors, and floods the floors we thought would always keep us safe and dry.

Today I realized that about 85.5738575% of the year it rains in the place I live. There's some sun and warmth for May, June, July, and August. Then the rest is pretty much rain, fog, overcast, and snow. I mean, sure it keeps everything moist and growing. But is it too much to ask for a little more sun?! Oh well, Christmas should come soon enough!

I also decided that one day I would like to visit Chicago, New York, California, Greece, Italy, Ireland, Scotland, and SPAIN! I know that's a lot, but one day, it will happen! :)

Lets pretend Marshall Mathers never picked up a pen, lets pretend things would have been no different. Pretend he procrastinated, had no motivation. Pretend he just made excuses that were so paper thin.

Today I realized that if you're in an amazing mood, feel incredibly happy, and that NOTHNG could ever bring you down. Don't let anything bring you down! Don't sweat the small stuff :)
It was the second day of school today, everything was good as I was leaving the house! I don't know, I was just in a really good mood, as I wrote above probably. Like, I literally skipped towards my friends when I saw them at the corner, that's legitimatly how happy I was. IT WAS GREAT :) Basically, the whole day put together was great. So it's all good.

Just so you know, I have no clue where this is, but I wanna go there.

While the floors underneath our feet are crumbling, the walls we built together tumblin'. I still stand here holdin' up the roof, 'cause it's easier than telling the truth.

Today was the official first day of school! I was terribly excited at the beginning of the day, but as the day started, I realized that this is going to be SUCH a busy year. However, I think and hope I'm ready! Because I'm going to make the best of the situations that come along. As I've probably mentioned in my previous post.

So today when I was at the pool, my friends and I were spinning in circles while looking at the ceiling, while in the water. Then when we stopped spinning, we'd go under water and upside down. Well, actually, I didn't go upside down. I was too scared I'd drown or something haha. So instead, I just went under and curled up into a ball, because I was SO dizzy! Honestly, once you stop spinning, I felt like I was leaning the whole time and I couldn't bring myself to come up straight! It was crazy, probably one of the most exciting moments of my day though :P

I’ll be playing basketball with the President, dunking on his delegates. Then I’ll compliment him on his political etiquette.

Today we got our time tables for school! I also realized that I have been in high school for a couple years now, and I have not enjoyed much of it! So, this year, I'm gonna roll with the punches, do my best, and enjoy the ride the whole way. Because, why do something if you're best interests aren't in it? Right, there is no point! So, it's all gonna be different this year! I'm going to try to be less stressed about everything, and be happy with whatever rolls along :) THIS IS SHOULD GREAT! :)

I also realized that my smelling abilities are quite off, as I have a cold! For dinner, I walked past the kitchen and thought that we MUST be having stir fry. Turns out we're having potatoes.. Whoops. So anyways! Tomorrow should be a good day :)

I think someone's trying to show us a sign that even if we thought it would last. The moment would pass.

Today is the second last day of summer. It's pretty depressing. However, there are many things to look forward to! There's three of my friend's birthday's coming up, my mom's birthday, Thanksgiving (TURKEY AND PUMPKIN PIE!), Christmas (MORE TURKEY AND PUMPKIN PIE!), New Years, and so much more! So even though the warm summer months are almost up, the cozy winter feeling is soon to come! :)
Today my friend's and I set goals for ourselves this year. My friend's goal is to be quieter, while my other friend and I plan to be LOUDER! Because we both don't usually talk too much. Oh! We also plan to live the year with no regrets, JUST DO IT! As Nike might say.
On a final note, I decided I really want to make banana pancakes once. I haven't before and they sound incredibly tasty! :)

I came along, I wrote a song for you, and all the things you do. And it was called yellow. So then I took my turn, oh all the things I've done. And it was all yellow.

Today my friend and I were going to go to the gym to workout, but for some reason we decided not to go all the way there. So instead, we worked out in my basement! I've also decided that I feel summer shouldn't be over yet, because I'm not prepared to go back to school on TUESDAY. I literally feel like summer just started yesterday. I already feel tense again like my friend said she felt! Which is not good. So now I've decided I might start buying tea, because it's supposed to be relaxing. So I'm hoping that will work for the school year. Or maybe I might start drinking coffee? This is because I was always soo tired last year at school, so I think it might be a smart idea. Then again, I've heard that coffee can stunt your growth.. so maybe not! So many decisions!

I know this sounds pretty sad.. but the one thing I'm looking forward to now is Christmas break :) Mostly because I love Christmas, it really is the best time of year. It always just feels so cozy in my house! With candles, the Christmas tree, baked goods, and the fire in the fireplace! :) Ahhhh, I should probably get through these next few months first :)

How did Mandela get the will to surpass the everyday, when injustice had him caged and trapped in everyway? How did Gandhi ever withstand the hunger strikes and all? Didn't do it to gain power or money if I recall.

Today my friends and I decided we would like to watch a lot of movies that Joseph Gordon-Levitt stars in, because well, y'know just because. Well I don't really have a whole lot to say today, so I might just leave it at that :)

I need a sign to let me know you're here. All of these lines are being crossed over the atmosphere. I need to know things are going to look up. 'Cause I feel us drowning in a sea spilled from a cup.

Today, I discovered the most beautiful man on this planet. His name is Joseph Gordon-Levitt. I was watching Inception with my friends today when I leaned over to my friend in the movie theatre and said, "He is actually VERY attractive.". She laughed at me. But he is just sooo beautiful! At the moment, there is no one more attractive. Plus, he was in an amazing movie. Inception was so good, a little confusing though. But still, it was mind boggling and thought provoking. I have decided I am going to buy this movie when it comes out on dvd! I also decided that I would like to make a giant pretzil one of these days :)

So, last night I was having a really good dream and then my alarm went off! I was so upset that I reset my alarm for another fifteen minutes because I thought I could finish off my dream.. turns out that never works. Instead I layed there making up the remainder of my dream! :) So now, the way I made it up, is what I remember.

I also watched Friends today. It was really funny, gotta love that show. A few days ago, I decided that when I'm older, I want my apartment to look similar to Monica's. Because I just love the looks of it! Perhaps not some of the tackier things in the apartment, but the colors and layout! I love it :)

Sun been down for days, a pretty flower in a vase. A slipper by the fireplace, a cello laying in it's case. Soon she's down the stairs, her morning elegance she wears.

Today I went shopping with my friend and we must've tried on about one MILLION pairs of jeans, so I'm still seeing jeans in my head when I close my eyes. A similar thing happened when we walked around the mall looking for sandals one time! We got to the store around ten and soon enough it was one o'clock, it went by very fast.  In the end, I only ended up buying two pairs of jeans, a sweater and a tank top. But it was fun! :)

Also, I figured out that I have a tendency to want to know how things work in the world. For instance, when we were stopped at a stoplight today, all I could think about it how the stoplights know when to put the green light, red light etc.? Is there a camera in the lights? Or maybe a motion/weight sensor in the ground close to the intersection? These are the questions that run around my brain all day. I try not to ask too many of them because I don't want to act like I know nothing :P

Things can move at such a pace, the second hand just waved goodbye. You know the light has left his face, but you can't recall just where or why.

Today I went back to school clothes shopping with my friends. Turns out, we're the worst shoppers ever. We walked all the way around the mall and bought absolutley nothing! Then on our second round, we finally started buying things because we had to leave in an hour. That was stressful! Plus, I'm such a goof. I put these amazing moccasins on hold. When the thing is, they had nine pairs in stock.. But I had to be sure, you know! I had some greek food, so that really made the day complete :) Later on in the day, we gamed it again. I know, we're kinda losers. But we learn to deal with it! Today I didn't game very well in Mario Kart.. I placed 12th a couple times. But 3rd a few other times! So it's all good :) Oh! And my mom made another pie :)

And you are there on my heart, from the start of my every morning. And I can't deny by the end of the day that I'm running on empty.

Today I went to the spa with my wonderful mom and it was AMAZING! We both got manicures and pedicures. But, WOW, the way they massage your feet and hands is incredible! Oh, and the music they played in the background, I nearly fell asleep I was so relaxed. I also loved the way they decorated the rooms there. When I get my own house, I'm decorating it like that spa, just so you know! And, if possible, I'd like to somehow achieve the smell of the spa as well? Because it just smells, SO GOOD! On a final note, I realized how comforting and relaxing a single candle can be :)

Today was HOT! And just now I'm asking myself, why didn't we go to the beach? Instead, we walked to the mall. We went through the mall and all of the stores.. twice? I'm pretty sure I more than recognize all of bootlegger's clothes by now, and Shopper's Drug Mart really needs to update their perfume. But don't get me wrong! It was definitly fun as I was with my friends. For instance, when we were in Save On, my friend had to go to the bathroom, so we hid from her in the aisles. Sad thing is, we kind of suck at hiding, so she saw us pretty quickly. No big deal! I also realized that walking around in 6 inch stilettos make me feel super tall! :)

Your style is quite selective, but your mind is rather reckless. Well, I guess it just suggests that this is what happiness is. Hey, what a beautiful mess this is.

Despite how very sunny and warm today was, I went over to my friend's house and we full out gamed. We played Mario Kart, I beat her twice. Which, believe me, is quite the accomplishment! I was pretty stoked on that :) Sadly, when we played on the easiest course, I kept running into the moving crab things, so I came in 4th. After, we played Guitar Hero. I'm definitly not the best at that game, I always click the wrong buttons, so my score is never that high. On the bright side, I came home to see that my momma had made pumpkin pie :)

The morning's here, but we're still caught up in the night. The sky was clear and everything felt right.

Today was a pretty chill day. My friend, who always hurts her ankle, hurt her ankle! So I was asked to bring a cane down to her house. Pretty sure I received a few strange looks on the walk, since you know, I wasn't using it. Most of the way I just dragged it along the ground, trying to not look AS weird. Unfortunatley, it turned out the cane didn't come as much help.. but oh well. I got some blueberries once I got to her home :)

Sooo, I couldn't write yesterday so I'm going to post two instead of just one to make up for it.

Yesterday, my amazing friends and I basically went back to our childhood. It was pretty grand. We gamed it in my basement playin' Mario Smash Bros. I was pretty excited since I won on my first try. Then we went down to the school to go on the playground and played Grounders. I must say, that's a VERY exhilarating game! After, we went back to my home and watched The Aristocats. We named each other of which character we were, because everyone knows that makes watching a movie THAT much more fun :) August 22nd = one of the BEST days of my summer as I was with some pretty great people :)

We're smiling but we're close to tears. Even after all these years, we've just now got the feeling that we're meeting for the first time.

Today I went to Coombs with my friend. As we were driving there, we were listening to music, and I realized how much better music sounds when you're driving somewhere with others. When I'm just sitting at home listening to music, I get bored very quickly and have to change the song. A lot. But when with others the music just sounds so much more enjoyable and catchy! So I've come to the conclusion that I appreciate the invention of car stereos and radio shows :)

We're here for a good time, not a long time. So have a good time, the sun can't shine everyday!

Overall, today was a good day! I know it's still early and school is not yet here. But I really wanted to go get my school supplies, so I did. Surprisingly, it was really exciting! I actually love shopping for school supplies. Even though by the time school is back in, I want it to be summer again. Another excellent thing is that my friends and I bought some wonderful yet filling pie!
