Today's 'Song of the Day' is this song because, while I was at the pool, it came on the loud speaker and it reminded me of a bunch of things that made me happy! Now, I'm not totally sure that the song is meant to be happy! But, you know how some songs remind you of times, places, people, memories, or occasions? Well this was one of those songs, and it was a happy memory :)

While hanging out with my friends, we kept listening to 'Not Afraid' by Eminem. Turns out, the line 'It was my decision to get clean, I did it for me. Admittedly I probably did it subliminally for you.' is VERY catchy. We also decided it's because it rhymes so nicely. So clearly, as it was stuck in my head the whole time, this was my song of the day :)
August 21st, 2010. 'Teenage Dream.'
I came home today and 'Teenage Dream' by Katy Perry was on the radio. And, like when I hear any other song I really know, I started singing to it. But I just really love this song because it just screams summer and it makes me want to jump, dance, and sing around my room. Lame, I know, but it makes me happy so it's all good :)
August 20th, 2010. 'We're Here For a Good Time.'
Today while I was sitting in a food court with my friends (while eating a pie) I heard the song 'We're Here For a Good Time' by Trooper. Instantly I became so excited as I know every word to this song. So I basically just started jamming out right then and there. Well, not very loud. But still, it was great. Oh, if you couldn't guess already, the song of the day was 'We're Here For a Good Time' :)
